Terms and conditions:
- Returns must be initiated within fifteen (15) days of product delivery.
- Items must be returned in their original, unused condition, including the original box and/or packaging, as well as any applicable tags, manuals, warranty documents, and accessories.
- Large freight items can be returned within 15 days of receipt in unused condition. Please note, that you are responsible for arranging and funding the return of large freight items.
- All returns must be shipped back with an authorization number. The return authorization can be obtained by speaking to one of our team members.
- When you purchase an item that is considered a "special order," which is typically custom-made or ordered specifically for you, you
can not return unless there is a manufacturer defect; essentially, all sales are final on special order items.
The Durkopp Adler 838 series features high-performance industrial sewing machines with bottom feed and driven roller presser foot, designed to handle leather, textiles, and sports shoes, particularly when working with thick threads. The combination of feeding systems ensures stable stitch length and consistent performance, making it ideal for demanding production environments.
Classic models come equipped with electropneumatic seam backtacking and presser foot lift, allowing operators to sew thick materials efficiently. Additional features include automatic bobbin winding, pneumatic second thread tension, and integrated built-in motors for energy efficiency (optional).
The 838 series is engineered for precision, durability, and versatility, offering superior stitch locking even at varying sewing speeds, low noise and vibration, and easy maintenance. Optional devices for upper and lower feed differential control (+10% to –10%) and fast hook or needle changes ensure flexible operations for a wide range of applications.
